Introducing Risk-Free Trial Before Pay Feature

Introducing Risk-Free Trial Before Pay Feature

Update: Due to the confusion this feature may cause with our existing similar features and install payment services, we are ending this feature gradually. While existing risk free trail orders will still remain unchanged, we are no longer accepting new Risk-Free Trial Before Pay orders. For interest-free install payment, please use Sezzle instead; and for risk-free trial, please place order as usual, as all orders will come with 30-day risk free trail.

One thing that makes shoppers prefer offline shopping over online is that they don't get to see the actual product before payment. Today, we made it even easier for shoppers to make purchase decision by launching the Risk-Free Trial Before Pay feature. With this feature, customers will be able to receive the product before they make the actual payment. Here's how it works:

  1. Choose products to try. When you find something you are interested, please click on the "Risk Free Trial Before Pay" button, and proceed to checkout. We'll temporarily place an authorization hold on your card but won't charge you anything.
  2. 30-Day Trial. Once you place your order, we will ship the product to you. We will start the 30-day trial period when our system detected the package was delivered according to tracking status, and if our system was not able to follow the tracking status automatically, we will allow up to 10 days of transit time before we start the trial period.
  3. Pay or return. Once the trial period is ended, and you haven't submit return request, the fund hold in your card will be paid to us. If you would like to return the product before the trial period ends, please contact us to submit your return request. Once we receive your request, we will end the trial period, and allow 10 days for you to return the product to the given address. We will cancel the order once we receive the return, and your money will be still in your bank account.

Please note: this feature is still in Beta test, and there may be minor technical issue during usage. We are working on perfecting this feature, and if you encounter any issue, please contact us

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Why was my card charged? I thought I didn't have to pay

A: The record you saw was not a payment, but a payment authorization, which means the money is still in your bank, but will be sent to us after the trial period ends. If the record was indeed a payment instead of a payment authorization, then it properly because you clicked the standard checkout button instead of "Risk Free Trial Before Pay" button during your purchase, but even so, you will be still protected by our standard 30-day risk free trial program.

Q: If I purchase without using the "Risk Free Trial Before Pay" button, does that means I don't have trial period?

A: No, you will still enjoy 30-day risk-free trial if you purchase normally, and if you don't like the product within 30 days of delivery, you can still return the product and get a refund. The difference between standard purchase and Risk-Free Trial before Pay is that you will pay us before the products arrive, but we will still provide refund if you return the product within 30 day of delivery.

Q: Why was my Risk Free Trial Before Pay order canceled?

A: In some cases, if your bank was not able to create payment authorization after you placed the order, the order will be canceled automatically. In this case, please check with your bank, or use standard method to place the order.

Q: I don't have a credit card, can I use this feature?

A: Unfortunately, this feature is currently only available to credit card users. For non-credit card buyers, please use standard checkout method.
